Mr. Justice Samuels, in deciding the "Freeman's Journa.l'3" appeal from the Dublin Recorder's decision awarding it £44,600 damages for the armed raid in March, increased the compensation to £476,000, pointing out that the raid was intended to silence.the journal's' support of the Treaty. ci ,<
