MISS ROSINA BUCKMAN.
After an extremely successful season in Australia the Dominion's Queen of Song, Miss Bosnia. Buckman, and her talented husband, Mr. "Maurice D'Oisly, will give three > farewell concerts in the Wellington Town Hall, commencing on Saturday, 30th December. In view of European engagements ahead, the forth•coming tour willbe a. short one, and tlie season will be limited to three concerts. Miss Buckman has received everywhere the most flattering receptions, and notwithstanding that she is always announced as "the famous New Zealand soprano," has been eagerly adopted as a daughter of the Commonwealth. The tour of New Zealand will occupy about two months, after which Miss Buekman returns to Europe to fultil several Continental engagements, including a season at the La Scala Opera House, in Milan. The supporting artists will again be Miss Adeliiiu Leon, the'popular 'cellist, and Mr. Percy Kahn with whom local concert-goers will be delighted to .renew acquaintance. The box plan will be opened at the B,lue Bird Confectionery, next Grand Opera House, on Wednesday morning.
