NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Makara County Council, held on Friday, the Bth day of December, 1922, the followinjj Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Counoil to be held on Friday, the 12th day of Janua-ry, 1923: — RESOLUTION. In exercise of the powers conferred on it by Part IV. of the Counties Act, 1920, the Makara County Council hereby makes, by Special Order, a Bylaw under the Counties Act, 1920, an additional Bylaw entitled " Cattle Driving Bylaw," and under the Health Act, 1920, a Bylaw amending lhat part of Chapter IV. of the County Bylaw, 1910, relating to the keeping of swine.. ■ The object and purport of the proposed Bylaws and Amendment are: BYLAW. 1. Fixing times during which' horses or cattle not in yoke may not be driven on- the County Roads, within a radius of one mile of the Johnsonville Post Office. AMENDMENT. 2. Regulating the keeping of swine and the situation and construction of piggeries. Full Copies of the above Bylaws are deposited at the County Offices, Balance street, Wellington, and are open for inspection by the public during office hours until the 11th day of January, 1923.
