ABSENTEE PERMITS
A LARGE NUMBER ISSUED
A feature of this eleotion is the largo number of absentee permits and seamen's rights that have been issued in every electorate. These will not be counted until they are verified, and the votes will not ba included in tho total that will be available to-night. It is quite possible -that they will oause uncertainties as to the final result. Tho Electoral Officer (Mr. ( Hodgkins) to-day supplied "The Post" with the number of permits that havo been issued in each electorate. The figures are appended:—
