RAIN PROBABLE
There has been little change in atmospheric pressure during the past twentyfoar hours, although the barometer has fallen and risen in most parts of the country. The winds have been variable, with westerlies predominating, and the weather mild, though overcast at times; and scattered showers have been reported, particularly on the West Coast and. in the southern districts. The barometer is .high in the North, but a change in atmospheric pressure is forecasted in tha nest forty-eight hours. In the meantime, moderate and variable winds may be expected with northerlies prevailng. Warm and humid conditions are to hoi expected, weather dull* with much mist and fog in-part, and rain following generally. One point of rain fell in Wellington last night; 75 points fell at Arthur's Pass, 86 at Greymouth, and 31 at Weatport.
