WESTLAND
GREYMOUTH, 23rd November.
Mr. Jesse Steer, the Reform candidate for Westland, to-night, addressed a large meeting at the Opera House. He reviewed the legislation of the Government approvingly, affirmed that the Liberals only differed from Reform on two points, the State Bank and proportional representation, on which, as the Liberals would vote with extreme Labour, they stood condemned. He received a vote of thanks and confidence. ,
