Jfri further games in the Wellington ladder. this week, Miss Shearer, No. 13, defended her position against Mrs. Norris, winning 6-3 and 6-4. jMiss Walters defeated Miss Foster, 7-5, 2-6, 6-4. Miss Travers defeated Miss Tracy, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3. In the men's ladder, Hailing challenged Berry for his place on the ladder, and secured it, 6-4,-6-3.
