MAORI SOLDIER FUNDS
(»t teiegraph^—press association.) WAIPUKURAU, This Day. The Hon. A. T. Ngata visited : Waipukurau. At the sanatorium he was met by Maori soldier patients. In answer to a, question in reference to the Maori soldier funds collected during the war, he explained that the money was expended in two sheep stations on the East Coast, at Wharekahika and Hereheretau, containing 5280 acres and 6170 acres respectively.
