KING'S THEATRE.

The programme at King's Theatre is one of exceptional merit, and includes. the irresistible Charlie Chaplin in "The Idle Class." In a dual characterisation as a tramp, golfer and as a dude he provides much, scope for laughter. He makes the golf links as hazardous as "no man's land," and the difficulties he experiences at a fancy dress ball in the evening, especially when trying to drink a cocktail whilst clad in armour, adds to the general merriment of the audience.- The other star Sicture, "Island Wives," features Miss orinne Griffith to advantage. In "Screen Snapshots," Chaplin, Douglas Fairbanks, and Jack are seen in a mirth-provoking, boxing contest. The orchestra provides special music under the leadership of Mr.. L. D. Austin. ■
