JMr. J. "^'say, the Ngaio champion', has put up a 'very fine performance in the club's current handioap tourney, haying scored the possible, viz., 11 wins, no losses, and no draws. The next best tallies are:—E. E: Hicks -6i-2i, :W. J. Hicks :6i-2i,' A. B. Topp si-24,'F. J. Brooker 7-4, and A, H. Gibson 4-2.. The envelope containing the sealed handioap will not be Opened until the, eight outstanding •games have been disposed of. The play. amongst the . six strongest conjpetiiors counts' as the first ; half of a two-round contest for the club championship.
