DUNEDIN, 26th August. In the New Zealand cross-oountry championship race, D. Todd, R. Rose, A. Barclay, and A. W. Page,, all of Wellington, were first, second, third, and fourth in the order named, securing the possible points. J. Tapp and J. Beatson, both of Otago, were fifth ' and sixth. Time, 31min 3sec. Todd beat Rose for the individual championship by a matter of only three yards, after a great race over a heavy course.
