SKATING CARNIVAL.
The announcement that a monster masquerade skating carnival is to lie held on sth and 6th September will no doubt create a lot of interest in Wellington. The management has left nothing undone to | make . this [ carnival one of the best held here; The entries tor the various events ,are coming in in great numbers,, and those who wish to take part ia it are urged to forward their names and costumes as early as possible.
