Mas Lily"* Payling was chosen as the vocalist to inaugurate the first of a series of wireless broadcasted concerts, and sang, at The Hague, "Land of Hope and Glory," to audiences throughout France, Belgium, and England. Tho song was clearly heard at Ramsgate, Newca-stle-on-Tyne, and Liverpool, but it was only partially heard in London and the southern counties.
[Radio concerts have been broadcasted from The Hague for months past, and are a source of much interest among British wireless amateurs.]
