LODGE MEETINGS

The fourth meeting of the Wellesley (Juvenile) Lodge, ,No. 7, 1.0.0. F. A.C.), N.Z., took place in the Caledonian Hall this week, the adult vice-president (Bro. H> Finch, P.D.D.G.M.) presidinir in the absence of the N(G. There was a large attendance of members. Ono laid was initiated as any Oddfellow, and several further candidates were nominated. ' The juvenile officers show steady progress in their ritual work. A social committeie of juvenile members was set up. Nolan, P.G.; on behalf of Cleveland Lodge, a framed Past Grand's illuminated certificate, in recognition of his services during tormi^ in the principal chairs. It was announced that a gold medal .with the Order's emblem ("Triple Liny") embossed, had been presented for member (malo or Rebekah) of Order,obtaining most candidates during the current term. A movement for instituting a Rebskah. lodge at Brooklyn was recently initiated. . Zealandia. '..Lodge, No. 48, 1.0.0.F (A.C.) N.Z.;- held its fortnightly meeting at: St, Thomas's Hall, Newtown, last Thursday evening. Bro. T. Glengarry, P.G., presided over a,' largo attendance. In addition to routine business, one oandidate was elected.and duly initiated and seven further candidates were nominated. A team was selected to play Southern Cross Lodge at its next meeting for the the district "Five Hundred" Shield.
