VOTE FOR REJECTION OF TERMS.

(AUSTRALIAN . NEW EBALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 26th July. A new crisis threatens the engineering trade. In a ballot on the employers' amended terms, upon which the recent lock-out was ended, 43,937 voted for acceptance and 70,901 against. It is pointed out that only 12£ per cent, of the total number of men affected voted. The parties are conferring. ■ •,
