GREAT MAJORITY FOR STRIKE.
WASHINGTON, 26th July. The Canadian railway shopmen have telegraphed to* Mr. Mackenzie King, the Premier, stating that 97 per cent, of their number have voted for a strike unless the wage reduction proposals are withdrawn. Action will be stayed until the Premier, replies. \ '< '
