INTEREST BURDEN OF NEW SOUTH WALES

SYDNEY, 12th July,
The New South Wales Treasurer announced in the Legislative Assembly that the interest payable' on ■ the New South Wales loans for the coming year would total £8,310,000, and would eat up 20 per cent of the State's revenue.
