TO VISIT INDIA
AN IMPERIAL DELEGATION.
Reference was made by the Right Hon. .Srinivasa Sastri yesterday to the forthcoming visit of an Imperial, delegation to India. This proposal was made by the Empire Parliamentary Association a year ago, but it was then found impossible to arrange the, visit. It was .hoped to arrange the visit this year for the end of the year, when the weather is cool and the Council of India is in session. Elections in New Zealand and Australia at this time, however, would make it impossible to select representatives from these Dominions. It is probable, therefore, that the visit may have to be further postponed.
