The Address-in-Reply debate will be continued this afternoon, the right to speak first resting with Mr. O. E. Statham (Dunedin Central). The amendment of the Leader of, the Opposition has yet to be disposed of and it is understood that, with this out of the way, the Labour Party may move a further amendment. If it does so it will probably refer to the refusal of the Government to allow the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association to ally itself with the Alliance of Labour.
