WAR GRAVES IN GERMANY.

Shepherd (Official Secretary in Great Britain of the Common- | wealth) has returned from Germany. He motored 700 miles, and visited all the most important military cemeteries. Ho was most impressed with the care and attention shown by the Germans in connection with the upkeep of the graves of Allied soldiers, also the fine lay-out and beautiful surroundings of the oemeteri.es generally. Mr. Shepherd succeeded in tracing and identifying many Australian gra/ves, and has no doubt that systematic and prolonged search of the Geinnan records will reveal many others.
