HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

The new bill submitted at the Fuller House last night is >an exceptional one in many respects.- It introduced to Wellington vaudeville patrons two sterling English artists, who received a great welcome. Tom Learuore, thel clever burlesque and character comedian, made a big hit with his quiet humour, his absurdly funny clothes, his songs, his clever comments and quips, and, above all, his neat eccentric dancing. He is an artist from dancing feet to expressive face, and he scored an instant success with his quaint new songs. Maxwell Carew, ,a noted English "dame," submitted, in a charming setting, a c^ver turn in which he wears some ravishing dress creations, in his impersonations of a Salome dancer, a Duchess, a party singer, and a. Dutch girl. His voice ranges from, tenor to baritone, and he sings all the operatic excerpt^ in different voices—a clever vocal'effort, His lightning changes are a. feature of U>e act.' Other newcomers were Murphy, Mack and Co., whose "Major's Reflection" sketch was a distinct novelty. One member of the company imitates, behind a broken mirror, the ifntics of an old soldier who is dressing after a "previous" evening.. The illusion is complete, and the act is comical to a degree. Others who' delighted were Kit Toms and .Roma, whose capacity for' humour of the burlesque kind knows no end; Will Saunders, whose sketch work. is. iriterestng and clever: .Pagtlen and Stanley in comic sonss and comments; Victor the Gl-eat in "masiu; Afdllci '. Dolinda 011 the ti-;ui*xe]' There will be ■« vupctitiou touislst of this excellent bill.
