FOUR COURTS RECORDS

LONDON, 4th July. Mr. Winston Churchill stated in the House of Commons that the Records Department at the Four'i. Courts contained legal, ecclesiastical, n.i_d testamentary documents from the thirteenth century onwards, all the wills from 1530 to 1899, and the census returns from 1821 to 1857. He was unable to state whether any of the records had escaped destruction. ..
