CEMETERY DESECRATION
TO IBS EDITOR.' Sir,—When visiting the Cemetery at Kardri on Sunday I was muoh distressed to observe that a vase was missing from tho grave of my loved one, aud that all the beautiful flowera it had contained wore thrown aside. Tho intrinsic value is' not material, but the desecration ie very hurtful to my feelings. I am hoping, therefore, that this letter will bo road by the misguided person concerned, and that it will bo appeal ttt liis botiov nature that he will not again, submit a follow-being to such a painful experience. One cannot help wondering whether the people who indulge in theso cruol misdeeds have ever themselves ]iad near and dear relatives, whose loss they have mourned. Surely if they have th.jy would not violate sacred ground co ruthlessly,?—l am, etc,
