■.;.■.'• LEVIN, This Day. The Corner's inquest into the Mangahao disaster was opened at Arapeti this morning. Medical evidence showed that death,, was due to gas-poisoning. Butler has sustained a fracture of the skull when he fell unconscious, and Maxwell was very badly burned about the body, through falling on his lamp. After evidence of identification had . been taken, the inquest was adjourned till 13th July.. ■■'■•.■
