NEW YORK, 3rd July.
A New York newspaper prints an in-'i terview with tho ex-Kaiser, secured by Baron Clemens, yon Radowitznei, who spent several days at Doom. He quotes Wilhehn as declaring : "The Monarchy will return to Germany after some years, but I shall not come back. Not only economically and industrially, but politically, Germany will some day be 'as igreat as before. Then we shall prove to the world that we were, not responsible"* for the war, and that I was not responsible." The ex-Kaiser praised President Eb'ert, stating that ho is a capable man, and the right man for the place, granting that the place exists. While respecting the late Dr. Rathenau'- ability, he considered him a danger to Germany, because he was a' Jew. Wilhelm has 'developed a strong hostility to Jews, and ■is also bitterly opposed to the RussianGerman Treaty, of Ra.pallo. The ex-Kaiser said he did not wa.nt to see Austria united with Germany. Discussing the Oriental question, he said he believed the Young Turks will unite with the Egyptian Nationalists and form the nucleus of. a Moslem bloc. It would be a great pity if England did not give a (protectorate to Egypt. England had done an enormous amount of good to the Egyptians, who were quite unfit to administer. their own country.. He was convinced that there will soon be a great rising in India. Baron yon Radowitznei ■declares that the Kaiser's crippled arm is worse.
