TAXATION COMMITTEE.
The Taxation Committee's report has been received by the Prime Minister, but no decision has yet been reached concerning its publication. It may be presented to the House, but .the Prime Minister has not yet'studied or even glanced .at it. There is only one report which may be taken as an indication that nothing drastic is recommended, since members of the Committee differed considerably in the basic alterations that they would have madt in the system of taxation.' It is quite possible that some of the proposals for the removal of anomalies will be given effect to in legislation. ' y
