LONDON, Ist July.
The latest quotations for butter are : New Zealand, 228s to 2315; Australian, 226s to 2285.
Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received to-day the following cablegram from their London house, under date 30th June :—-"Butter.—Since our report under date of 29th June, prices: are lower. Six shillings for New Zealand (now 2305) and 4s for Danish (now 2265). Cheese.—New Zealand coloured 100s. white 102s, a reduction ■of 4s. Forward ,buyers are not operating on account of present high prices and the uncertainty of the future." ', The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from ' its London office under date 30th June:—"Butter:. Slow. 224s to 228s per cwt. , Cheese : Quiet. Coloured, 98s to 102s: . white, 100s to 1045."
