The British revenue for the quarter ended 30th June was £195,154,000, the principal items being; Customs, £31,----£09,000; excise, £36,758,000; estate duties, $16,591,000; property and income tax, £57,433,000; excess profits duty, £951,000. The increases ate: Ex-
cise, £2,964,000; estate duties, £5,667, ' 000. The decreases are: Excise, £8,158,----000; property and income tax, £6,467, 000; excess profits duty,-£16,100,000.
