WELLINGTON COMPETITIONS.
In connection with the fifth annual festival of the Wellington Competitions Society, competitors arc reminded that all entries will close at the secretary's office, 40, Willis-street, on Tuesday next. The festival promises to be the most successful the society has yet held'; individual entries are being receivedl from leading amateurs in all parts of the Dominion. A special feature this yea*- will bo the choral contest, m,I'm .addition .to the local choirs, it is anticipated* "that entries will be received from Cliristchurch, Napier, Otaki, and; . several other choirs-outsidn of Wellington. The male choir conteit will also receive, a good entry.
