DEPARTURES. June 22—Woottpn, ej. (1.10 p.m.), 144 tons, McPherson, for Lyttelton PALOONA ARRIVES FROM MELBOURNE. Tlie Union Company's intercolonial steamer Paloona arrived in the stream at Wellington' at 10.55 a.m. to-day from Melbourne, and berthed about 1 o'clock this afternoon at the King's Wharf. The Paloona left Melbourne last Saturday, and experienaed fine weather on tlie voyage across. ' , "■ The, Paloona is to leave Wcllinftton at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, on the return trip to Melbourne. '-*. CYRENA 'WITH OIL. * The Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Company's steamer Cyrena arrived at Wellington this morning from Singapore with a load of case oil for Wellington. The Cyrena, which ia coming tothe agency of Gollin and Co., is commanded by Captain H. Miles. She left Singapore on the 26th May, and experienced fine, weather with easterly winds on the trip. The vessel Is to leave Wellington to-mor-row to complete discharge of her cargo at Bluff, Dunedin, and Lyttelton, after which slio will return to Singapore. ULIMAROA SAILS TO-MORROW. The Huddart-Parker Company's steamer TFlimaroa is .to leave Wellington at noon tomorrow. for Sydney. ■ < PERSONAL. Captain J. Baldwin has taken over temporary command of the Mararoa from Captain B. The New Zealand Shipping' Company's liner Ruahine is to leave Wellington at s'p.m. tomorrow for Southampton and London, via Panama. Passengers are requested to be on. board by '4 p.m. to-morrow.. MAIMOA WITH iivERPOOIrCARGO. ' Continuing discharge of Liverpool cargo, tho Maimoa arrived at Wellington yesterday from Auckland.' The vessel is :to leave-here nex.fc Sunday for completion of discharge at Lrttelton and Dnnedin. She will later load for Home. , SUFFOLK LOADING FOR NEW YORK. The Federal liner Suffolk is" expected afc Wellington next Monday from Bluff to complete loading for Home. The vessel is .'to leave Wellington on the 30th June for New York and West^of England ports. THE WEST CHEROW. The West Cherow arrived at Welliugtdn this morning from Auckland to continue discharge of New York cargo. The vessel is to leave here on Tuesday next for Dunedin, Bluff, Sydney, and Melbourne. The Union Company notifies that the Arahura will not make the intermediate trip on the East Coast this week. The vessel Was to leave Gisborne at 1 p.m. to-day for Napier, and will leave Napier at 10 p.m. on Friday for Gisborne and Auckland.
