RETRENCHED OFFICERS
FACILITIES FOR EMIGRATION.

LONDON, 20th June. Colonel Amery, in the House of Commons, promised that the /claims of the retrenched naval officers would be considered in schemes for assisted passages and other help under the Empire Settlement Act, ujider which, he hoped, a satisfactory arrangement would soon be reached with certain overseas .Governments'.
