IRISH STATEMENT DEFERRED
PREJUDICIAL TO PUBLIC' INTEREST. (RSCTBR'S TILEGRAM.) (Received June 21, 11.30 a.m.)' LONDON, 20th June. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr. Winston Churchill announced the postponement of the Irish. Statement, saying that the discussion of Irish affairs at the present time might be prejudicial to the public interest, as so many uncertain factors existed. [AUSTRALIAN • NEW ZIIIAKB CABIZ ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 19th June. Mr. Austen ; Chamberlain, in the House of Commons, said that at the moment it seemed inevitable that during the autumn seßsion it would be necessary to consider legislation in regard to Ireland.
