HAYWOOD VULCANISING WORKS AND MOTOR FIRE DEPOT, Rangitikei-street, Palraerston North.
Readers of The Post no doubt are familiar with almost every business in Palmerston North by now, but there is one that will bo of more than passing interest to motor-car and cycle owners, that is the Haywood Super VukanisVng Works and Motor Tire Depot, in Rangitikei-sfareet. The place with the rree air service. It is conducted by Mr. Li. Palmer, an expert vulcaniser, with many years1 practical experience to guide him in his business. Although Mr. Palmer has on more than one occasion, increased the size of his premises and plant, it is to-day not one bit too bag for the great trade he does. Tire repair work is sent to his establishment from all parts of the isla-nd, and there is no better indication that the work is carried out most satisfactorily than the fact that year jn year out sees a subsantial increase in his toade. The Haywood (vulcanising plant is regardedl by everyone who knows anything at ail about vulcanaevng as the only machins worth its salt, and, eren then, in the hands of other than an expert like Mr. Palmer, ifc would1 be useless. For the convenience of motorists, a. complete stock of the best makes of tires, tubes, and rubber goods of all descriptions, including sui'gical rubber appliances and' ■milking machine rubbers, are stocked.
