Blood Will Tell,

Fashionable Poultry at the Show.

Poultry farmers and anyone who may be contemplating starting in the poultry farming line should not overlook the fine exhibition made in the utility White Leghorn classes by Mr. T. Bruce, of 328, Church-street, Palmerston North. In all, there are sixteen birds exhibited in these classes by Mr. Bruce, and they all show that they have been bred on the most scientific lines, and, while they are of great quality, it will be noted that they possess all the qualifications that great layers should have, namely, constitution, vigour, and true to type. There is a Rreat demand for this breeder's stock throughout New Zealand, and his "blood" has been used to improve every flock into which it has been introduced. Breeding hens, cockerels, and chickens are supplied, and those who may be desirous of improving their flock or staTting poultry farming can be certain of a straight deal, and there is a great flock of over 800 to select from, and the incubator capacity _ employed at the Bruce poultry yards is over 2500, and is constantly running from July to November, inclusive.
