Some of these lines have already arrived, and have proved sterling value. Many new lines are arriving by every steamer, and this firm can now show a very fine assortment of ladies' evening shoes and fine shoes for best wear, bought direct from the manufacturers, and these lines can be retailed at prices that were not thought possible last year. Men's footwear is also arriving in good styles and value. ; Many of the old brands, so much appreciated by keen buyers, are again finding^ their way to the front, and R. Hannan and Co. are now able to show a very fine selection in men's footwear. We must not forget to mention another' section that buying direct on the Home market has affected, and these are the infants and children's lines, supplies of which are mostly drawn from the Home manufacturers, and are now arriving in many styles at greatly reduced prices. The Pahnerston North branch is now carrying a good selection of all these lines, and any buyer can save money and time by going first to any of the twenty-two branches of this well-known firm.
