A shipment of 700 pounds of Douglas fiv eeed was recently made to Great Britain. Fifty pounds of the same seeds and a like amount of Sitka spruce seed have bean shipped to the New Zealand. GovernTMmt, a similar shipment at the same, time going forward to the- Australian GovernMessrs. A. E. Carver and Co., auctioneers, will hold a sale of household furniture and effects in their roomo, 137, i Lambtan-quay, to-morrow, at 2 p.m.
