DELHI, 17th June. A hundred laseare and stewards of the lost steamer Egypt's crew have arrived .it- Bombay. They emphatically deny that they fought with knives and revolvers to enter tils ship's boats. They admit that when the passengers were taking to the boats some of the crew entered too, but they declare that they had no revolvers.
[The reports of the tragedy of the Egypt, which sank in the •English Channel as the' result of a collision, with heavy loss of life, alleged that the lascars behaved in a most cowardly fashion, and rushed the boats. Passengers stated that but for this fact, everyone might have been saved.]
