NEW YORK, 18th. June.
At the period when the planet Mars approached its nearest point to the earth, Signor Marconi, aboard a yacht in the Hudson River, listened at radio instruments steadily for nearly a fortnight, but failed to hear anything which would lead to the belief that Martians are endeavouring to communicate with the earth.
