PILOT MURDERED
BY DEMENTED PASSENGER.
PARIS, 16th June.
The newspaper InJ,ransigeant states that the aviation accident off Folkestone at the beginning of the month was due to a demented passenger shooting. the pilot, whose body shows a bullet wound in the back of the head.
[A French aeroplane flying from London to Paris nose-dived into the sea from a height of 2000 ft three miles from Folkestone. A crowded Channel steamer proceeded at full speed to the spot, and picked up the mutilated bodies of two passengers, Dr. Ley, a leading London surgeon, and a Frenchman.
