INCIDENT AT TIMARU
TEAM LEAVES THE FIELD.
TIMARU, 17tH June,
After about twenty minutes' play in the senior grade football match, Celtic v. Zingari, to-day, the former team walked off the field, It appears that Storey (Zingari) had potted a goal, and the Celtic players claimed that it had been touched in transit. This the referee disagreed with, so the Celtic captain took his team off the field. The iucident caused an unpleasant sensation.
