FIGHTING RENEWED
CHANG BEING DRIVEN HOME.
(ONITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.)
(AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) / , PEKIN, 16th June. Fighting on a large scale haa been resumed. The truce between Wu Pei-fu and Chang Tso-lin appears to have been a ruse on the part of Chang Tso-lin to gain time to reorganise his army. Chang Tso-lin is now virtually surrounded, and is being driven towards Mukden. The plight of the wounded is terrible.
A report as to the capture of two Japanese spies is confirmed. They were surrendered to the Japanese command at a treaty port. '
