THE MAGAZINES
From Gordon and Gotch, Ltd., is received a. parcel of magazines, including the Red, the fortnightly all-fiction magazine, containing ten complete stories, illustrated, some verse, and a long instalment of Ethel M. Dell's new novel, " Charles Rex." The Premier Magazine's contributors are Edmund Snell, Albert Payson Terhune, and Harry Douglas. There is also a chronicle of the "Odds On " Club from the new series of Turf tales by Edward Woodward. In the Grand Magazine, P. C. Wodehouse continues " The Adventures o£ Sally," and Bertha Ruck, Oliver Sandys, Mrs. Wilson Woodrow, and other well-known ■ writers contribute complete stories. Although £he_ Yellow Magazine has only been in existence a few months, it is reported as having already established itself as a. popular favourite. It is a purveyor of clever and cheerful fiction. It contains contributions from James Barr, Laurence Clark, Margaret Strickland, and. A. M. Burrage, the latter continuing his laughable series, " The Knightly Adventures of Sir Archibald."-
