FOR THE TINY TOTS
There are all sorts of new and fascinating cretonne and shantung designs for making attractive fveralls. Nursery rhymes are printed in pictured form to please the tiny tots, while black cats, dogs, elephants, and all domestic or wild animals appear in dado decorations round the hems and sleeves of these little garments. They cause no end of amusement to the childish mind, and are really quite pretty as well. Of course, the clever needlewoman excels with these materials, and creates all sorts of wonderful effects. They are so attractive when the design is cut out of cretonne material and applique on to a plain linen material. A large panel treated in this manner created quite a sensation .in the nursery.
