"BABES IN THE WOOD."
The J. 0. Williamson pantomime this year, "Babes, in the Wood," will be presented at the Grand Opera House for the first time on Saturday next. The season lfill extend, over nine nights and/three matinees. The pantomime comes with high praise ' from. Australian, critics. There are 22- scenes, and the people in the pantomime number ISO. The principals are said to form a very talented combination. Miss Norah Delany is the principal boy, Miss Floie Allen is the principal girl, and Mr. Jack Williams is the dame. 1 Also included in the cast are Mt. W. S. Percy, the weH-k.no.wni, comedian, Naughton and Gold, eccentric comedians, Miss Audrey Thacker, who .plays "Littlejohn," Mies Josie Melville, premiere danseuse, and, Mr. Frederick Mackay, premier dansour.' Matinees will be given each . Wednesday and Saturday. The box plan for the first six nights will open at the Bristol on Thursday next. Norah Delany, who plays "Robin Hood," is, off the stage, Lady Maxwell, wife of Sir William Maxwell, and is a great favourite in pantomime and musical comedy will) London audiences.
