TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS,
The quarterly criminal sessions of the Wellington Supreme Court were continued to-day, his Honour Mr. Justice Chapman being on the Bench.., Mr. P. S. K. Maeassey appeared; for the Crown. ■ •• ■'-,•. 'The first prisoner tried was a youth named Allen Percival William Fowler, twenty . years of age, who was charged with having had carnal knowledge with a girl under the age of sixteen years. Alternative charges of attempted carnal knowledge aiid of indecent assault were also laid against prisoner, who pleaded! not guilty. . . . Mx. E. Gr. Jellicoo appeared for the defence. . . ' .'
