(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.)
(AUSTRALIAN • NEI7 ZEALAND I'ABLE ASSOCIATION.) CAPETOWN, 30th. March.
The Central; Committee of the Nationalist Party of the Cape Province passed a resolution deploring the bloodshed on the Rand and condemning the lawlessness, but expressing the opinion that the revolutionary elements secured the upper hand owing to the partial attitude of the Government and the feeling of despair amongst the strikers, who realised that they had to conduct a hopeless battle against the combined power of the Government and the Chamber of Mines, assisted by a slavish majority in Parliament.
