At golf, Cambridge beat Oxford by three foursomes and five singles to two foursomes and five singles. Tolley was brilliant. Partnering Wibble, he defeated Longbourne and Coady by 12 up and 11 to play. He beat Prowse, the Cambridge captain, in the single*' by 3 up and Zio play, after a keen struggle. All were thirty-six-hole matches.
