ARRESTS IN NEW ORLEANS.

The State Department is awaiting consular reports concerning the arrests in New Orleans of Eric Harold M'Bride and Maggie M'Bride at the request of the Australian Government, on charges of forging stock transfers in Melbourne. On receipt of reports, Mr. Hughes will decide whether they can be extradited.
