SHORTT'S THEATRE
"Dangerous Days," a picturisatAon of the story by Mary Roberts Rinehart, headed the new programme at Shortt's Theatre to-day. Briefly, the story deals with" the machinations of a group of foreigners in an endeavour to blow up an American munition factory, which is working at high pressure on behalf of tho Allies. How their efforts are frustrated forms the basis of an. enthralling istory, to which interest' is added by the introduction of a charming love element. The cast, which is claimed to lie an all-star one, and with good reason, includes Lawson Butt, Clarissa Selwynne, Barbara Castleton, and Pauline Starke. Supports include latest Topical Budget and a comedy, "A\ Domestic Knockout."
