The position of. the parties is unchanged, and no. further progress in the count is expected before Friday, as tha total number of primary votes in each constituency will not be determined till the absentee votes gravitate from all corners of the State. SYDNEY, 27th March. | The police report that polling day was the most orderly a"nd quiet on record. Counting is proceeding very slowly, as the first preference, votes are being checked before the other preference votes are looked into. All members of the Dooley Cabinet have retained their seats.
